Experience is the measure of how far your characters have come in their journey. After a set amount of experience is gained, the character will gain a level, granting them more health and magic, and a skill point. Experience is gained primarily from fighting monsters and completing quests, though XP potions can be bought from the store to raise the experience of one character.
Additionally, some characters and items will grant bonus experience points, allowing for quicker level growth.
Levels and ExperienceEdit
A character's level depends on the total experience they have gained during the campaign. Each Level, the amount of experience needed for a level up increases. The total amount of experience needed to reach level "L", can be found with the equation

The most common and most efficient way to earn experience is from battling and defeating enemies. There are different enemies available in each location on the map, and each enemy awards a different amount of experience. Additionally, defeating multiple enemies will be rewarded with bonus XP that increases by 10% for every enemy more than one (up to +60% against 7 enemies).

The second most common way to earn experience is to complete quests. All quests reward experience upon completion in addition to the experience gained over the course of the quest.
Experience earned from quests is based on the current average level of the active party (party members left in the pub are not used in the calculation). The experience gained at the completion of quests is not dependent on the type of quest, or which quest it is; the experience reward for all quests is determined by the equation
where L is the average level of the party, rounded down to the nearest integer.
This experience is for the whole party, and is divided evenly between all party members, with any remainder being discarded. To calculate the reward per character, divide the total experience by the number of characters in the active party, and round down to the nearest integer.
